Christmas Eve

Christmas would not be the same without the tradition of Christmas Eve. Family getting together and sharing in the memories of that first Christmas so long ago. I'm sure our rendition is quite unlike the "normal", but we love sharing the roles with cousins and letting our true personalities shine through.Let me introduce our cast for 2011:
Lincoln and Cassie as Joseph/Mary

One of the cuter donkeys we have had

Don't worry, this display of attitude would never reflect the REAL personalities of these three!!

3 Shepherds - Cami, Carlee, and Ashley

2 wise men - Faye and Clay

Angels - Dailynd, Chloe, and Lizzie

Our wonderful narrator - Grampy

Me - at the piano

"And so it was, that, while they were there,
the days were accomplished that she should be delivered."

After the nativity, each family shares a talent or two.  I can't imagine a more enjoyable part of the program.
A duet by the Weech girls

an original dance choreographed by them

The Oliver's famous rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas

Goodman's singing one of their favorite Christmas carols

Lizzie stealing the spotlight

Michael sharing some of his original poems

We had a special musical number that was enjoyed by all.  Grammy and her sister, our Aunt Sue, played a piano Christmas duet.  It was the highlight of the evening!

Christmas eve ends with hugs, laughs, and family memories.

Can you believe these two beauties are 12??

All families return home for "stockings to be hung", some pumpkin pie, and a wonderful nights rest.....well....that's ANOTHER story!!
