Happy Birthday Jacque!

This beautiful daughter is turning 24!  Usually, on birthday Sunday, Jacque shares her day with either Chelsey or Lincoln as they have birthdays within days of each other.  This year we missed Chelsey, but Lincoln and Jacque had a blast celebrating cousin-style!

We also celebrated as a family with a fun dinner and great entertainment - Jade and Lilly.

Happy Birthday Savannah!

How we love this lady!  Savannah is such a wonderful part of our family.  I sure do wish that I had pictures to show all the wonderful things that she does for Aaron and for us.  But since they are far, far away and "someone" won't send pictures.. (hint - hint!) I don't.  So, our family blog will have a picture of this beautiful lady and my attempt to capture her personality in a poem!

It was a Perfect Day!

Pictures speak a thousand words.  I can't describe the feelings of this day in a simple blog post.  Happiness for our sweet daughter and her wonderful husband, joy in having family all around, nervousness in anticipating the crowd at the reception, gratitude for so many family and friends who helped make this day nearly perfect.  So many pictures to choose from, so many emotions to share.  This was truly a little heaven on earth.

Bridal Pictures

Aly and Eric's wedding is just around the corner....or next week!  It is a very busy time at the temple as the Easter pageant has already begun.  Usually, bridal pictures are done in the evening, but with large crowds every night, pictures were done at 5:00 a.m.  It was early, but the pictures turned out beautiful!  Aly started her morning with her favorite food....waffles.  Cassie, a very talented cousin, came over in the wee hours of the morning to do Aly's hair.  We love Cassie!!  I drove Aly to the temple where she met Jacque and Nate (from Still Life) and of course Eric!!
