Beautiful Bridal Shower

Jacque and Jenny sure know how to throw a party!  Hours of preparation created beautiful decorations and delicious food that were loving planned for Aly's "English Brunch" bridal shower.  Wonderful family and friends helped in so many ways by bringing more delicious food and LaNae was so kind to host this event in her beautiful home.  We enjoyed meeting new family and spending time with friends and family.  It was a wonderful celebration!

Happy Birthday Aly

The big 21!  Can it really be that our 'baby' is twenty-one??!!??  How can time pass by so quickly?  I think this will be Aly's best year yet! I love our traditional birthday celebrations!  Favorite dinner at Grammy/Grampy's home with cousin craziness and a delicious family dinner, presents, and of course...pictures!!

Aly wanted to go out to breakfast as her birthday pick.  Brad and I joined Aly and Eric, Jacque and Preston for a delicious breakfast at Crackers!

A - Almost married to one of the nicest guys around and her best friend - Eric!
L - Laughter is contagious as she shares funny jokes, quotes, and songs
Y - Yearns to complete her bucket list and has amazing things to yet accomplish
S - Seeks the peace the temple gives as she regularly attends and looks forward to entering those sacred doors
O - Organized with a plan of action for everything she accomplishes
N - Never wavers in her faith that her Heavenly Father loves her and is watching over her.

New Car for Aly

Aly has patiently waited and searched for the perfect car for all the traveling that she does.  It took a while to narrow down the choices, but she finally decided on a 2013 Toyota Corolla.  She is so excited!!

Our first blog post of 2013!
Aly and Eric are ENGAGED!!  That Eric knew just exactly how to win Aly's heart.  They decided to visit Grandma on the holiday weekend and then take a picnic up the mountain.  Such a special place for so many people and events.  We are so excited to have Eric as the newest member of the Weech family.  A few weeks passed before the ring came and it was officially official. 
Now the planning begins!

 

 

End of 2012 and Random Pictures

During the holidays, Jacque took some pictures of Tyler, Jenny, and our two adorable Grand-daughters.  Since this is our "family history", I wanted to make sure some of these are recorded.  Expressions on Jade and Lilly's face are hilarious, show their individual personalities, and bring me so much joy. 

 

 

So, this is Tyler having fun with Lilly.  She thought is was so funny for Daddy to be jumping over her!

 

To ring out the old year and bring in the new, Brad and I invited Jacque, Aly, and Eric to join us for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, The Golden Gate.  We have been going there for over 25 years and the owner, Sue, knows all her clients like they are family.  It was a fun evening and the food was delicious as always.
